What other nation of 20 million people could be so consistantly high in the medals tally at international competitions?

Aussies love sport, you could even say we worship sport and those that play it! Thousands each week compete in and attend sporting events throughout the country. We join the millions around the world in putting athletes on pedistals and paying tribute to them and when they fail to meet our expectations we are left shattered.

To many of us victory is everything whether that be in our personal team or the team we support. Our heart in Athletes in Action Australia is to share with sports men and women that ehre is more to life. We desire to share with them the hope, freedom and purpose in all of life that comes with having a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
